1. Follow the law and respect rights

You may not use a Trinect service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, or harmful activity or to violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.

2. Harmful content and conduct

  • Do not threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, or promote violence or discrimination against a person or group.
  • Do not distribute malware, destructive code, unlawful sexual content, or material that facilitates exploitation or serious harm.
  • Do not impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent affiliation, origin, or authority.
  • Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive information to a feature that is not expressly designed and contracted to receive it.

3. Spam and unauthorized communications

Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, enroll people without permission, harvest contact information, operate phishing schemes, or use a Trinect service to distribute deceptive or unauthorized promotions. Waitlist submissions must use an address you control or are authorized to provide.

4. Security and system integrity

  • Do not probe, scan, test, or exploit a vulnerability without prior written authorization.
  • Do not bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, robot controls, or other technical restrictions.
  • Do not access non-public systems or data, interfere with another user, or introduce malware.
  • Do not overload, flood, scrape, crawl, or automate requests in a way that harms availability or exceeds written permission.
  • Do not conceal malicious traffic, falsify request information, or use compromised credentials.

5. Misuse of products and information

Do not use LabSpace, PunchMan, Trinect business or travel features, or AI-enabled features to make unlawful decisions, facilitate academic or professional misconduct, evade safety controls, or present generated or unverified information as authoritative where doing so creates a material risk of harm.

6. Enforcement

Trinect may investigate suspected violations and restrict, suspend, or terminate access; remove material; preserve evidence; limit traffic; or notify affected parties or authorities when reasonably necessary. We may consider severity, intent, history, impact, and efforts to correct the violation. We are not required to disclose security-sensitive investigative details.

7. Reporting

Report suspected abuse or security concerns to legal@trinect.org. Provide enough detail to identify the service, conduct, location, time, and supporting evidence. Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
