Trademark Use Policy

This policy explains how the Trinect name, product names, logos, and other brand identifiers may be referenced.

Last updated October 9, 2026

1. Ownership

Trinect, LabSpace, PunchMan, Trinect Solutions, NOMAD, associated logos, and other distinctive identifiers are trademarks or brand assets of Trinect LLC. This policy does not transfer ownership or grant a general trademark license.

2. Permitted references

You may use the word names in plain text to truthfully identify Trinect, discuss a Trinect product, link to an official site, report news, or describe compatibility, provided the reference is accurate and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

3. Prohibited uses

  • Do not use a Trinect mark as your company, product, service, application, domain, social-media account, or project name without written permission.
  • Do not use a confusingly similar name, spelling, symbol, or presentation.
  • Do not use a Trinect mark in a way that implies endorsement, certification, partnership, or official status.
  • Do not use the marks for unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful material.
  • Do not register or attempt to register a Trinect mark or confusingly similar mark.

4. Logos and visual assets

Do not copy, redraw, animate, recolor, distort, combine, or distribute a Trinect logo unless we provide the asset for that purpose or give written permission. Permission to use a logo is limited to the approved context and may be withdrawn.

5. Attribution and presentation

When a reference could reasonably cause confusion, clearly identify your own organization and state that it is independent from Trinect. Use the Trinect name as an adjective where practical and do not make it more prominent than your own name or brand.

6. Open-source and integrations

A license to software or other material does not automatically grant permission to use Trinect trademarks. An integration may truthfully state that it works with a Trinect product, but it may not present itself as an official Trinect product without written approval.

7. Permission and questions

Requests to use Trinect brand assets should explain the requester, purpose, audience, placement, duration, and proposed presentation and should be sent to legal@trinect.org.
